The 2015 Queens Baseball Convention at McFadden's Citi Field turned out to be another big winter hit. Mets fans from all generations came out to talk Mets history & current state of the team.
1986 Mets stars; Wally Backman & Mookie Wilson told stories, took photos & signed autographs for the fans. 1969 Met; "The Glider" Ed Charles was also on hand to receive a Gil Hodges Award.

Special thanks to the Shannon Shark of the Mets Police for getting this thing going & having centerfieldmaz involved.

I was involved in a Mets Decades Panel, with my focus on the seventies, especially the 1973 N.L. Champion Mets.
Thanks to Darthmaz, Cousin Dan, "Mets Uniform Expert" Sean O'Shea, The Infelice Monster & Shallie for supporting me as well as my parents.
Thanks to fellow Mets Decades Panel crew: moderator Jared Diamond (WSJ) -Michael Geus, Sean O'Shea, Kevin Connell & Darren Meenan. It was great to talk to all the people I met on the day, thanks for all the kind words and following centerfieldmaz.com. Send in your photos, stories or anything you want me to write about while sharing your Mets memories.

Thanks for the Stearns-Heep Plug. I missed the jersey parade. I was guess I was listening to a panel and missed it. I did not not hear them announce it.. Oh Well. I almost wore my 82 Foster autographed jersey..... I won it at a Verizon store contest.
Dave.
Also, The 86 Heep Jersey did not win last year...
Dave.
I was a pleasure meeting you at the QBC. Besides the panels and the players, the nicest part of the day was just talking to fans and sharing our thoughts and experiences. I'm the guy that went to the 9/20/73 game that you knew much more about than I did.
