Best Wishes to Mets Legend Rusty Staub

Former New York Mets Hall of Fame Player, Rusty Staub suffered a heart attack while on a plane from Ireland to New York on Thursday.  The plane was rerouted back to Ireland & the 71 year old Staub is recuperating & resting privately in a hospital there. Rusty is expected to be fine.

Staub known as "Le Grande Orange" was one of the hitting stars of the 1973 Mets National League Championship team. Staub made a return to the Mets at the end of his career & was one of the games best pinch hitters.
