Bruce Rocks the Super Bowl

Bruce was definitely on last night for the Super Bowl show. I think it was the best half time show they ever had, with the exception of possibly Paul McCartney. I didn't think much of it at first, the whole over hype of the Super Bowl & the half time show is so over the top, and ruins it for me.

But Bruce was really into it and it didn't take him much time to warm up. He took control of the stadium & America when he said drop the guacamole & put the chicken fingers down!! The Tenth Avenue Freeze Out opener was awesome, so was the cut down version on Born to Run. The new song working On a Dream was squeezed in nicely to promote the new album, but lose the gospel singers Bruce. Please. And drop that extra horn section too, sounded ok but how much more we gonna expand the E Street band?

The Glory Days closer was also perfect for the whole sports mode of things. Great the way he changed the words to football & Hail Mary pass. Wasn't it kool to see Bruce do the running knee slide & spin the guitar around his neck 360 degrees. Some of these antics were missing from the Magic Tour show i saw.

Looks like Bruce is ready for the new 2009 Tour, tickets on sale tomorrow morning..........
