To this day, I grieve over then, Mets GM Bob Scheffing trading Nolie away.<br /><br />Nolie was my favorite and I predicted (as a 14 year-old kid) that he would be a Hall Of Famer the day he threw his first pitch as a Met in 1966. My brother used to tease me about my naïve prediction until Ryan finally reached his potential in Houston.<br /><br />Ryan was my favorite Met of all time.
