The 2009 debacle continues.........

Isn’t it just amazing how this team keeps embarrassing us. Why bother even showing up. When will someone answer for this disaster? I hate to say it folks, but this is the beginning of another decline in Mets history. This team isn’t going any where and the next few years don’t look any better. What do we have to look forward to? Fernando Martinez? Yikes.

There is no character with this bunch. They let everyone walk all over them. They cant run the bases, they cant field the ball, they cant throw, they cant catch pop ups, they certainly cant hit in the clutch, they cant hit for power and the pitchers are so inconsistent.

I am sick of hearing how Citi Field is such a pitchers ballpark, and every team that comes in blasts home runs all over the place. Enough already.

David Wright may be leading the league in hitting but he is the weakest hitting batting leader I’ve seen in a long time. We need some power & he has 4 measly HRs! Does he know how to hit in a big game? When will he learn how to throw from third base? Enough already.

Instead of some one stepping up when other players get hurt, the rest of these marshmallows all line up to be next one on the disabled list.

Omar Minaya has to go. This is his mess on the field. A bunch of over the hill, weak, lazy emotionless losers with no pride. Doormats. The last three trade deadlines he has produced nothing, this year with all the problems they’ve had he’s made no moves.

What about the players he didn’t go after. Raul Ibanez, Orlando Hudson?? Derek Lowe, no Daniel Murphy, Luis Castillo, & Oliver Perez were his picks.
What about going after Manny. Yea the whole steroid issue would have been a mess but he would have carried us into the playoffs last year. He would be coming back from his suspension next month. What do we have to look forward too? A bunch of marshmallows nursing the injuries they’re recovering from?
