Murray Greshler
Murray is a simple minded New York City cop, always in his police uniform. His large nose is often the focus of Oscars jokes (ex:"Nose' Feliciano" "Tokyo Nose" "Come inside Murray your sucking up all the air in the hallway"). Murray usually leaves his patrol car double parked outside the building, for a quick hand of poker or just to hang out at Oscar's apartment.

His wife's name is Mimi. At one point they had marriage troubles and he moved in with Felix & Oscar driving them crazy. He tried to set the boys up with a team of Roller Derby chicks but that didn’t go over to well. He once arrested his friends for gambling in a poker game, because he needed some arrests under his belt. Murray also plays the ukulele and is a member of Felix's band "the Sofisticatos".

Al Molinaro (born June 24, 1919 in Kenosha Wisconsin) Al was one of 10 children born to an Italian American family from Calabria. He once took an acting class with Penny Marshall, and got the part of Murray through her brother Garry Marshall. Al is most notably known as “Murray the Cop” and as Al Delvecchio, the owner of Arnold's on Happy Days. He was a classic TV actor appearing in : Get Smart, Bewitched, Green Acres, Love American Style, the Love Boat, Fantasy Island, & Laverne & Shirley. He also did TV commercials for On-Cor frozen dinners and starred in a short-lived 1982 sit com The Ugily Family. In 1987, Molinaro and fellow Happy Days cast member Anson Williams opened a chain of diner restaurants called Big Al's. Al did not appear in the 2005 Happy Days Reunion show. He made his rock n roll debut appearing in a Weezer video, the band comes from his home town. Al Molinaro is going on 90, retired and living in Glendale, California, married with a son.

Myrna Turner
Myrna was Oscar’s slow nasal talking secretary with a slow nasal laugh “henh henh henh”. She is very shy and meek, and has been to group therapy for a nervous condition. She was a hopeful tap dancer after her half time performance at an Alabama, Mississippi game. Felix tries to make her a tap dance star but it fails. Oscar gives her job back because “she’s the best secretary he ever had”. She is single and tries computer dating, until she meets Sheldon (her real life husband Rob Reiner-"meathead" from All in the Family"), who strays but returns to marry her.

Penny Marshall was born Penny Marscharelli on October 15, 1942 in the Bronx. Her father immigrated from Abruzzi Italy, and her brother was the shows producer Garry Marshall. She first appeared in “The Danny Thomas Hour," played bit parts in other TV shows. Her first big TV role came in 1971, as Myrna. She remained on the show until its last season in 1975.
Next, she co-starred in the "Happy Days" and the spin-off "Laverne and Shirley," was created. She played the wise cracking Laverne Defazio with the big L on her sweaters, & actually directed a few episodes. Since 1986 she is a Hollywood director and owns her own production company. To her credit she directed “A League of their Own”, “Awakenings” & “Big”.

Gloria Unger

Gloria is Felix's beautiful ex-wife, whom he always tries to get back. Gloria divorced him on the grounds of pestiness, and even though she still has feelings for him, she can't stand living with him. Felix was always insanely jealous, and made her feel inadequate, by re-cooking her meals, and telling her how to set the table and do the laundry. Gloria's maiden name was referred to as both either Fleener & Schaefer. She lives in New Rochelle & has two children with Felix, Leonard & Edna. Gloria was a former Playboy Bunny. Felix got the job to photograph a centerfold through Oscar, then falls in love with Gloria. The Photos were never published but stolen by Oscar.

Janis Hansen was born June 14, 1940 in Celoron, New York, Lucile Ball’s home town. Janis was a real life Playboy bunny, best known for her role as Gloria Unger. She also made guest appearances on Gidget, Bonanza, The Big Valley, My Favorite Martian, I Dream of Jeanie, The Rookies, Streets of San Francisco, Vegas, Police Story & TJ Hooker, as well as the 1970 movie "Airport".

Blanche Madison

Blanche is Oscar's ex-wife, who lives in California. She is either getting late or no alimony payments from Oscar. She tries anything from singing telegrams to jail threats to get Oscars payments. The two are always fighting, never agree on anything and unlike the Ungers, have no desire to get back together. Oscar is always hoping Blanche remarries so he can stop paying alimony. She almost remarried Roger the milkman until Felix buds in. Blanche's maiden name is Jefferson . Oscar & Blanche were married while the boys were on Military Duty, in Connecticut. They spent their wedding night in the barracks being serenaded by Felix & Murray. They divorced on New Year’s Eve after a party in the apartment in which there are three sides of the story.

Brett Somers was born July 11, 1924 in New Brunswick Canada. She grew up in Maine & ran away at 17 to become an actress in Greenwich Village. She became a singer, actress & comedienne who took the name Brett from the character in Hemingway’s “The Sun Also Rises”. She appeared on Broadway, in movies, most notably “The Seven Year Itch”. Her TV credits include Love American Style, CHIPs, Barney Miller, Mary Tyler Moore, Ben Casey, The Fugitive, & the Defenders. Her best known roles were on the Odd Couple & a long time run as a panelist on the game show Match Game. She married Jack Kugman in 1953, and had two sons. They couple separated in 1974 but never divorced. Brett died in 2007 of cancer at age 83, in Connecticut.

Edna Unger
Edna is Felixs daughter. She loves her father even though he's a pest. As she gets older all she wants to do is meet boys. At one point she dates a reform school kid, that Oscar was a big brother too. Later she becomes a baseball umpire just to meet boys. Finally she falls in love with singer Paul Williams and runs away from home to follow him. As she gets older she gets closer to Uncle Oscar & thinks he's cooler than her dad. Edna was played by two actresses, first by Pamelyn Ferdin (the brunette) and then by Doney Oatman (the blond).

Pamelyn Ferdin (Edna #1) was a child star who appeared in countless TV shows: "The Brady Bunch" "My Three Sons" 'Star Trek" "Bewitched" "Family Affair" "Mannix" "Chips" "Lassie" 'Andy Griffith" "The Flying Nun" 'Gunsmoke" as well as "Andy Williams, Bob Hope & Jerry Lewis" specials and my favorite "The Monkees".

She was also the voice of Lucy in "A boy Named Charlie Brown" & "Play It Again Charlie Brown" and the voice of Sally in "The Cat In the Hat". On top of all this she appeared in Barbie commercials. She quit acting in the early 80's, became a nurse, married a surgeon, lives in Connecticut & is a big animal rights activist.

Doney Oatman (Edna #2) had a short acting career playing on "ABC Afterschool Specials" "Maude" "The Rockford Files" "The Waltons" & "Charlies Angels". A pretty thing in her teen years, check out her photo these days on the left, yikes!!

Leonard Unger

Felix's son also "honks" when he gets upset, but unlike his father he loves frogs, & sports. Uncle Oscar coaches his football team. Just like the two Ednas, there were two Leonards. Played first by Willie Aames and then by Leif Garrett.

Willie Aames (Leonard #1) was more famous for his role on "Eight is Enough" and "Charles In Charge". He too appeared in many other TV shows & movies. "Love Boat' "Adam 12" "Medical Center" "ABC Afterschoo Specials" "Little House" "Cannon" "Courtship of Eddies Father". After battling drugs & alcohol for 20 years he became a born again Christian & starred in the TV show "Bible man".

Leif Garret (Leonard #2) was another teen idol of TV & music. Along with the Odd Couple he was on the show "Family". He was also in both original "Walking Tall" movies & "The Outsiders". He had a sucessful teen idol singing career for a few years & had a #10 hit with "I was Made For Dancing" in 1979.

In he crashed his car while on Qualudes and left his friend a parapalegic. After the family sued Garret the friendship was done. They reunited for a VH1 behind the music special & all was forgiven. Garret was arrested once more for heroin posession as the show aired.
